The Blog is a bit slow at the moment as the Olympics have just started, so I have dropped behind a bit.
Anyhow all excuses aside,the Fireworks at Mindil Beach were spectacular.

They were set off from the beach and from a Barge anchored in the bay.

                              It was pretty spectacular and went on for about 30min.

                               The finale was pretty special but hard to capture on camera.

Next time I will look at the World War two history around the town. There is a lot of it as Darwin was attacked and bombed quite comprehensively early in the war.
