26th Feb
From Forbes we headed North again and arrived in Narrabri Showgrounds for the night. It was pouring with rain again and we had trouble finding our way in. Anyhow we found the entrance and paid our $25.00 and set up for the night.

Not the most luxurious of camps but fine for the night and it had stopped raining.

From here we headed for Toowoomba and a short visit as bad weather was predicted for the Sunshine Coast with road closures etc.
We made it OK and set up but forgot to take a photo of the camp but we headed up town to get a Gas bottle filled and have a look around.
There are some lovely old buildings around town
.
 The Railway station

Some interesting and different styles.
We did the trip to the lookout looking over the Valley towards Brisbane.

The next day we made a run for Home and got home before the bad weather set in.
We are staying at Beerwah at Max's place from where we set off a year earlier.

We passed one milestone on the way though!

Not what I like seeing but we did do approx 34000km on the trip.

A quick rundown of statistics.
 Km Done  34032km
Fuel used (Diesel) $8230
Fuel used liters 5369
Camp fees accom  $4531
Well that ends the round Australia saga for us,a great trip with many highlights and many long days of travel. Well worth the effort, but not sure if we would do it all again.
Cheers Helen and David.
